No, when the slide goes forward it would automatically load a round.

Technically he would still have to hit the slide release. After firing the last round in the current clip, the slide locks to the rear, drop the clip, insert a fresh one, tab the slide release with the thumb and its locked, cocked and ready to rock.

If there is a round left in the chamber then no. It looks like a competition gun.....highly modified. He is probably a really good shot.

Thats really fast. He shoots competition. Thats what's considered a race gun. They have different speed shooting drills, consisting or varying targets and situations. Every once in awhile you can catch it on ESPN2. Those guys are all crazy fast and they don't do alot of missing.

Even if the gun was empty he probably wouldn't have to re-cock. Some competition guns actually close the slide on their own when the clip is slapped into it. I wouldn't want him on the other side....
