I wish I could go, I have a couple of friends riding the 5th, and 6th. The 6th is an open day as well with trackside services. I was up on 4-20 with Teddys open td, it was awesome 25 riders, only one get off, 210 miles, 2.5 tanks of gas. Heres a video I made of the day. Alittle dark but the clouds are trippy as hell.http://www.vimeo.com/11071246 I have a pass with Keigwins and wont be riding until Laguna in June, Miller in Utah if I can get off work.

sweet dude, i was at thill with zoom zoom on the 26th. i've never been to an open track day, i kind of have mixed feelings about it. i guess it will depend on how many people show up, it just seems like it has the potential to have some crappy things happen. at the same time there is the potential to get a ridiculous amount of track time

Ive done 3 so far and would only do open td if I could go more mid-week. There is a large discrepancy between rider levels but I am fairly cautious when passing other riders giving them plenty of room. I was dicing it up with a guy and he wanted to do it again at the end of the day, but I was spent and not able to ride at 90-100% so I called it a day. 10 minutes later he highsides and get the helo ride out of there. Ride your own ride and let the newbs race themselves out in the morning and in the afternoon you should have plenty of clear track, Good Luck.

yea there were a few **** heads out on the track on the open day. i had to have a heated convo with one guy after i got off the track. there were a couple of guys that were out there that were very dis courteous, when it came to passing. i am by no means fast 2:17 fast lap avg of 2:19-2:21 i was towing a brand new to the track guy around, and this a$$ clown passed him on the inside of 5 and the dude about lost it. i was mad as hell watching that. there is absolutely no need to pass like that at a trackday especially in 5

Inside of 5? Wow that's an absolute death wish! Glad you guys made it out unscathed. I'm not a fan of open track days. The speed differential And skill level between riders is too much... I rode in the b+ group for 3-4 years before I stepped into the a group... It's critical to take your time and build up speed. Hell, I still take my time and build up speed! Lol
