Do you ride with brights at night? Before I installed them i used brights 100% of the time and now i get flashed a lot, but makes riding at night so much better especially on back roads. there lights are 4300k

I personally don't use my brights unless there is no cars around. My HIDs (6000K) are bright enough on the lows that i do no need the brights. I only use my brights when there are no cars around, like back roads, but just like driving a car, when a car does come around, i turn the brights off. I do not want to blind the other driver.
yea it sucks to get blinded by hids from a car or a bike... flip the highs off when you pass someone...
Using heights 100% of the time at night is illegal and will net you a $100+ ticket
Never knew it was illegal but yes indeed mine are also bright enough to where i only use low unless like stated already no cars around.
I put on my brights:

Around noontime hours on days with no clouds
Near dusk when the sun is behind me
Countryside/no oncoming cars

It's bad form to have them on at other times; 'being seen' is no excuse to blind drivers, it is bad form and makes cagers hate all of us. Consider not installed HID into your high beam; when you flip on your high the igniter has to fire to charge the HID which results in a delay for the light to actually come on. It's better to have the high available immediately in case you have to flash someone/have the light right then.

Also, we are fortunate that the 600RR has a physical 'line beam cutoff' inside the light housing. You NEVER want to install HID bulbs into a halogen light housing where the entire bulb is exposed; housings are very carefully made to only reflect a certain amount of light and HID light is way too bright for them, resulting in tons of bleed and blinding oncoming drivers. If you are getting flashed, consider aiming your low beam down some more.

i have 5oook s ddm on mine and ther on all the time. all night on the highway i always get flash by oncoming car, then theres the semi that flash u and makes ur HIDs look like babies
Not around traffic. The lows are plenty bright enough, with the highs on I can only imagine it's blinding. I don't even run the highs during the day.
the high beam on my old RR is covered.

HID on low is bright enough.
well I have mine leveled out because of how bright they are... so technically I do not have a high beam its all one intensity.

Why be a jerk?
ill run them if the person in front of me is a jerk or cuts me off, then its fair game. but my 8k's are damn bright.
