Jesus, that better not have been on the street. Go play on the track, don't pull that **** on the street. I am all for a spirited ride on backroads buts thats near insta-death if something goes wrong and the higher the speed the higher the percentage for something to go awry.
It depends on whether or not you can get the bike to hit the limiter in 6th gear. With 2 up on the rear, the speed should be 167 at the limiter, but the bike may not have the power to do it. I have 2 up and I have been in 6th gear at around 12,000 RPM and the bike wasn't strugglin. I don't know what the speedo said at that RPM, but it don't matter because it's wrong anyways. I was easily going over 140 though.
Ok just look around. My GSXR 1000 is also regulated or has a governer in it. It tops out at 186 Just like all the other 1000's. This topic really should be about his speedo error because any modern 600 does not go past 163-165 Top Speed. Just look at any of the magz out there. I won't recommend you look for yourself. You'll see
and stock busa's go 200mph i guess too, huh? and gsxr1000's go 186 , yeah right. try more like 184-186 range for busa, poss.true mph. true 174-176 on 1k. every re-gearing change effects indicated mph, whether tighter or taller.
