Yeah I'm pretty bumed from the weekend, I got a bloody ticket on the hwy from "no other" than the FHP. Two actually one because the tag just expired and one for speeding, even though I was being passed by several other ppl on the hwy. He said that he paced me doing 87 which was not totally true because when he pulled out there was soo much traffic that he probably had to go that fast to catch up to me. What really pissed me off is that i talked to him and he said that he was going to write me a warning for the speeding (maybe because I pulled over and was geared up) but noooooooooo, he comes back to give a ticket for 85 and expired tag. What a bunch of BS.

That does suck bro but what is there to fight?
This is true....however, pacing is not an exact science like a radar "clock". Usually pacing based citations are written for "exceeding the posted speed limit" but at 87 m.p.h. there really is little to argue. As far as the warning this goes....that may have been an option until he discovered that your tag was expired. Good luck.

how can u be runnign around doing anythign even slightly illegal if your no 99% legit.. cmon now, you know better than that. Murphy's Law, hello.
But it sounds liek you can fight it tho, atleast get it reduced, and expired tags arent that big a deal, if you are just a few days expired. Judge may actually forgive u on the tags once u show up with the renued stuff.

That sucks man, you should go to court and fight it.
I don't get it... how is he going to fight it... other than hoping for the cop not to show up on the court date.

Anyways to the OP, was this on 275, Tampa or St. Pete side? I f-ing hate the speed limit on 275 in Tampa... wtf are they thinking.

Many titles are becoming generic again. This makes it hard to research topics that are already covered. It also lowers the amount of views and opinions you will recieve. Many members will not open up a topic if the title isn't descriptive enought.

Examples of titles being generic...
"Look here"
"New Pics"
"I got another one"
"help...."

Example of good titles...
"Need help installing flushmounts"
"Pics of my Dogs this week"
"Got a ticket for speeding"
"Road trip to the Rock Store"

We are all guilty, mods included, just please make a conscious effort to clean your titles up.
