Hey guys I'm looking to fix my bike before tomorrow morning. Im in a rush!

I can't get my turn signals to work at all. I checked all of the wires and connections. I checked the fuse. I'm not getting any volts from my meter with the solid wires that are not the running light wires. I have 12v on my running light wires. My turn signals come on solid (no blinking) when I attach my running light wire to the turn signal wire (blinking) . When I use my turn signal switch, the running lights turn off and don't signal.

Where is the damn relay? It isn't in the gauge is it?

If the relay failed... would that cause me to not have any voltage on the on the turn signal wire? How can you tell that the relay is bad?

Sounds like your flasher is dead. make sure the cluster is plugged all the way in. Do the arrows come on in the cluster when you signal?

Flasher relays are in your cluster. Use this to replace for led's and your all fixed. We have the flasher relay as well..

The arrows dont light up at all now. They both worked yesterday but they starts fuzzing out when I engaged the turn signal switch. They would barely light up on the gauge. It seems like its acting to be like something is loose but I have checked everything. My cluster is functional on every other aspect except the turn signals.

If you are positive your signals have a good connection I would look at your flasher relay being the problem especially if you have led signals.

the OE relay is in the gauge cluster - it is built into the pcb - but if you have LED flashers the OE relay won't work.

did your LED flashers ever work? if so then there must be an LED flasher relay installed somewhere.

Here is a how to for the flasher relay.. If you have one and it's bad it should be located here. If you don't and need one this is where it goes...

FYI... I found this in the link that Tripage posted above for you. In the video you'll see the the 3 relays next to the fuse block I mentioned and the blue harness (gauge cluster) that Tripage and Youngy are referring to.

Hope this helps.

I checked the relays. They had some green corrosion on all three of them. I cleaned them with electrical cleaner and I still have nothing. I still need to test them with a meter. My LEDs did work before but they both did blink fast but that didnt bother me. What else can it be? Do I have a faulty gauge?

the 3 relays on the left are not for your signals. Your signal relay is in your cluster. It's bad, just a new led flasher relay and wire like above and you will be ready to go. T

So my cluster does not need replacement but just install the external relay and I'm golden? Which relay do you recommend?

Hey guys... Update: I installed the new exturnal flasher relay on the blue plug on the wiring harness and installed it correctly from the video (easy) and soldered all of the connections for all of the lights and I still have no flashing turn signals!!!

I even hooked up the running light wires to the flasher wires. The lights light up great, but when you hit the turn signal switch for the left side, the left lights turn off and stays off till i press switch to the middle cancel position then it lights back up. The same happens for the right side.

What else can it be?

Update:

Everything is connected as it should. I determined the tripage flasher relay that was sent to me is defective. I fixed a few wires that were broken on my wiring harness that connected to the blue plug. This fixed my OEM flasher relay in the gauge and I do have flashers now without the external flasher relay installed. With it installed it does nothing.
