Ok this may be confusing but I had a 2000 r6 and when I bought it it had K&S flushmount rear led signals, anyway It was hooked up with a u-haul high evergy 3 to 2 wire taillight converter(shown below) anyway I sold that bike and forsome reason took the uhaul converter out. Now on my 600rr I just bought the k&s led signals again but cant figure out how to wire them right,When I tie them right into the factory wiring they blink So fast that you cant really see it, I was gonna buy resistors but the guy at radio shack told me that if I dont get the right ones they could get too hot and cause problems. So My last resort for now was to try and hook this piece up again..
I tried hooking the 2 green ground wires together and connected those to the ground on the trailer side and then the orange to the "turn/stop left" and the blue up to the "turn/stop right" then the red/blk wire on the signal to the "ground" and the red to the "turn left" and then the other red on the other signal to the "turn right". Basicly what happened was when you hit the turn signal either direction both signals would flash,(at a slow/normal rate) but I cant figure out how to get them to flash one side at a time.
I even flipped everything around and tried it the tow vehicle side conecting to the bikes wires and the trailer side on the signals. this may be confusing but I know it used to work on my last bike and its drivin me crazy..

What is this? I have no idea what you are trying to do. Is it a trailor? Are you trying to hook up the brake/signal lights of your bike to the trailor if it even is a trailor? I probley won't be able to help you but I'm interested in what the heck you are trying to do. haha.

no ok I had an r6 with k&s turn signals in the rear They worked with this uhaul thing..now I have the 600rr and the k&s signals but they were flashing too fast when i hooked them strait up to the bikes wiring harness, so I tried using the uhaul thing on the 600rr and I dont remember how it was supposed to be wired..

You don't need that for the rear blinkers as they are only two wire anyway (ie. they don't work as running lights). On the front you may be able to use that box to retain your running light feature with standard two wire blinkers. Just clip off your old rear blinks and wire up the new ones with a 10 ohm 55 watt resistor. There are plenty of wire diagrams on this site to show you how it's done.

I went to radio shack and the guy told me a 55watt resistor would be huge and they didnt have any the biggist was I think a 5ohm 20 watt or something..he was sayin If I install the wrong one it could catch fire or someshit.. Im not an electrician so I took his word for it

What is the U-haul thing? I don't think I'm on the same page as everyone else here. Are you talking about the rental moving truck company?

ok the (uhaul part is in the pics I made if you read what I said again and look at the pics you can see what I mean)
It does make the signals blink "normal" I had it wired up and they were blinking fine, also It worked fine on my last bike. The problem is that both signals blink at the same time when you try to signal either direction.
