I still visit this site often, but I've been working on my C6 Z06 as of late. I had a chance to finally take the Z06 to the track a few weeks back on the new Shenandoah Circuit @ Summit Point. The track was a blast even though it was pretty technical (19 turns in 2.2 miles). The car had street tires on it with upgraded brake pads and brake fluid......worked great. I had a great instructor and we wrung the car out a bit.....they finally staged me and my buddy in front so we wouldn't have to go thru traffic all the time. Good times. After that event, I added long tube headers, Corsa exhaust, Halltech filter and a nice tune. With a safe 12.5-1 AF ratio I am putting ~482rwhp to the wheels (~70hp greater than stock). I just put new 345x30x19 Michelins on in preps for the next track event on 21/22 October at VIR. I'll be running the full course so we may get to touch 170mph+ (depending on ballsack size). I also went ahead and put six-point Sparco harnesses in for safety and security.
Went out to ride the 600RR and the friggin battery was dead......guess it's telling me something. $120 for a new one? What the hell.....it isn't even carbon fiber. Keep up the riding guys (gals)
crappy quality pics.....sorry ;-(
Number graphics were temporary:
I was racing with my buddy Tim (a little sarcasm ;-))
