I still visit this site often, but I've been working on my C6 Z06 as of late. I had a chance to finally take the Z06 to the track a few weeks back on the new Shenandoah Circuit @ Summit Point. The track was a blast even though it was pretty technical (19 turns in 2.2 miles). The car had street tires on it with upgraded brake pads and brake fluid......worked great. I had a great instructor and we wrung the car out a bit.....they finally staged me and my buddy in front so we wouldn't have to go thru traffic all the time. Good times. After that event, I added long tube headers, Corsa exhaust, Halltech filter and a nice tune. With a safe 12.5-1 AF ratio I am putting ~482rwhp to the wheels (~70hp greater than stock). I just put new 345x30x19 Michelins on in preps for the next track event on 21/22 October at VIR. I'll be running the full course so we may get to touch 170mph+ (depending on ballsack size). I also went ahead and put six-point Sparco harnesses in for safety and security.
Went out to ride the 600RR and the friggin battery was dead......guess it's telling me something. $120 for a new one? What the hell.....it isn't even carbon fiber. Keep up the riding guys (gals)

crappy quality pics.....sorry ;-(

Number graphics were temporary:

I was racing with my buddy Tim (a little sarcasm ;-))

New headers and tunnel plate:

damn that's nice!......not too big on the decals though. Sweet ride!

Decals were just for the driving event and to make fun of my buddy Tim (they are actually re-usable). He has a black 350Z with "ZYA" on the license plate.

How's it going Moe! I actually just use a lightweight Sparco suit and just bought a nice Simpson diamondback helmet for auto racing. Not quite as blingy as my motorcycle duds. ;-)

I got this helmet in Metallic Silver to match the car and the suit to go with it. Girls, that is def' not me in the suit (Aren????)

Thanks guys.......it's the first American car I've owned since a POS in high school. That's 20+ years of Nissans, Toyotas, Hondas and an Infiniti. I still have a Tacoma as my daily driver but this car is too much fun to drive.

Thanks again guys. I think I've given 30+ rides to some of my friends. Let a few drive it. Saturday morning we are putting in the camera mount, lowering ~3/4" all around and putting my new rear spoiler on (if it comes in on time). Should look pretty sweet.
