UPDATED - Track Pics...


At my Streets Of Willow Track Day yesterday (01/19/04)... there were a couple of SportRider Magazine senior people (Senior Editor, etc...) testing this baby. Being in the Advanced Group... I was getting passed in the straights by this beast:

- hey... how did that get in there. LOL.

and here it is pitted next to us:

They were pitted next to us... but I didn't want to ask for a quick ride... as the bike was on loan from Honda. The funny part was watching them wax it down after they were done for the day. The sound of that exhaust is AMAZING... and it looks STUNNING on the track!

Someone spotted an R1 on the streets of california.where? i don't know. i can't remember which board either that posted those pics. but i am more insterested in 1000RR more then anything else.

Since you saw it first hand , why don't you give a us an idea of its impression. Were you impressed? since you saw professional rriders testing it. Saw anything that might stir you to decide "well its not that impressive after all" performance wise or was just "the bike look stunning at the track" Sure does look good to me too...after seeing them last weekend and a chace of riding side by side with thealmighty, would you get it in a heart beat!!!!????
