Like I said I am not addicted to the RR...

I am new to the RR as well as bikes of any kind. Been almost two months now and i am starting to feel comfortable. Till now usually I come home thinking it was a bad idea... maybe I should sell.. get a faster car... etc...

After a 150 miles ride today... It all just sorta set in... Im in love now!
I just wanted to say thank you for all those who have offered help along the way. I have learned so much from all of you. Still have a long way to go... but that confident feeling is key I think...

I also put a pic un my profile of the bike. Nothing special, but i have done a few small things. Let me know what you think...

Stone... RR For Life!

I have the same thoughts as far as not being sure if it was the right idea or not. When Im riding it just doesnt seem like it was worth the 9 grand Im putting into it. But then I remember that the house and cars are paid off so I have nothing else to spend money on. Im only a month and a half in, but i only get to ride on the weekends. Now Im statrting to think it was a good idea. My car is boring. Stock civics are no fun to drive. Even though cars are my passion, my bike is the current love of my life. Everytime I ride through town and high school girls oogle over it Im like "yep, def worth the 9 grand."

Its like other addictions. No one else will understand unless they have been there. Glad you are feeling comfortable on the bike. It only gets better. Tonight I was out on the v-star (too lazy to keep switching the body for the street on the cbr). Every turn it was floor boards being ground down but still relaxing and fun.

Keep on enjoying and be safe out there!

lol wait till you do a trackday

I've probably spent 15-20 grand in the last year and half. I'm pretty sure I haven't even made that much and I only owe $120 on my credit card which I have more than enough in the bank to pay for, so i'm not sure how i managed it. That only includes the bike, track, time and tires, but there is also the hotels, gear, enclosed trailer, gas, etc and if I could do it all over again I'd probably spend more on it, lol

never regretted anything (other than crashing but thats another story). Worth every penny and more imo

street riding is okay I have an RR and ride occasionally but I definitely question the money I spent on it, mainly just because street riding isn't that much fun at all anymore just more economical on gas than my freakin jeep

Oh please, get off his nuts. I'm sure if you're riding around town and some girls look twice at you, you don't at least smile. Or if you're riding next to a car ... you get my drift.

Seems like your the one swinging from his nutz cock monkey. I'm not into kiddie porn so no I don't get excited over teenage girls getting wet to see me riding on my bike. Too many people gettiing in trouble for that crap nowadays.

Quick question jonathan, Why don't you track the rr, and keep the F4i for the street?

That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age.

Bike looks great. My only complaint is the way my jacket and pants smell after riding, but other than that, I really have no regrets. The smell is really no biggie either.

Id prefer to also have more of a cruiser (looking at the Yam Warrior), but I love the RR. Im getting a little older and the RR is more physically demanding than other bikes, but Im in good shape so its no prob for me. Hopefully, Ill be able to afford a 2nd bike soon. If not, Ill hold on to the RR for a few more years at least.

Look, the older you get, the harder it is to hang onto your cool.....I ride my CBR 600RR because it is cool, it is an adrenaline rush, it keeps me thinking young, it is plain exciting, it gets better every time I do it and...... I don't care how old you are.....cute girls will always be cute girls......the day they aren't, they might as well haul you away.
