I have the same setup and I still can't get it up on one. I have tried many time and no luck. You might be able to help me out. Good luck. Tell me how it works out.
OMG, turn the throttle man. If you have 15/45 set up and crank the throttle hard enough even if you're pretty heavy and lean on the tank she'll come up faster than you want to even. I'm still having problems with 2nd myself but I know it'll happen....I really just need to work on clutching it up in 2nd. I'm really light so moving my weight around doesn't seem to change much. I can shift into second and third easy though after powering it up in first. But if I'm doing more than 30mph I've yet to figure out how to pull her up more than 6 inches or so....definitely rider error though, not the bike....espeically with this sprocket set up.
mines stock, and it comes up easy in first either by powering it up or feathering the clutch a little. Second gear I have to use the clutch going about 60 and pulling back, but it comes up
do you mean under 30 mph???? it harder to wheelie these bikes at lower speeds, you have to get it up to about 40 or 50 in 1st to get it up, at about 8 or 9 grand. :bounce:

Not when you have 15/45 gears....40-50 is way too fast for 1st gear then.

what do you guys think of the 15/45 set-up......i was thinking about it....but for now i think that i am going to go with just the 15 front....

with the 15/45 do you go through first quick....i am still unsure about this set-up...any advice on riding with this would be great...thanx

I love it myself. It might be a little overkill though. Definitely requires more throttle control in first gear. For now it's great, but I think after I get a full exhaust system and PCIII I may be going back to a 43 on the back.
I just ordered a 15 tooth for the front myself. I can sky it every time in first with stock gearing, but can't do sh!t in second. I'm hoping this will help second gear wheelies a bit. Anybody?

i have a slip on and a PC....i think that i am going to stay with jsut the 15 in the front
the rr is a differnt monster to wheelie, ive been gettin pretty good though, i am 220lbs so i sit as far back as i can take it up to like 30 and then crank the hell out of it. it ll usually come up just a lil and if i ride it a lil then itll pick it right up. i did have it stand strait up on time (by mistake); it started comin up and i wanted to ride it all the way out so i gave it more gas and i almost had it come out from under me, i hit the rear break pretty hard and the bike slamed down really hard. my bike is stock and i am a pretty fat dude but u just have to perfect you technique (if thats even spelled right). good luck and be careful
i think wheelies are so much more rider than the bike. i can get mine in second standing up all day long. get her goin bout 60 get off the gas push down the frtont end bounce a little grab a handful of gas and holdon. and no i don't clutch and i'm 6ft2 and weigh almost 220lbs. i got a friend of mine that can power up his 636 in 3rd. i've trind on his bike and can't even bounce it off the ground. so the moral to the story is pratice as much as you can. but belive me when i tell you the bike will do it. just my .02

i agree it is the rider...when i was practicing with my old bike i could not gt it off the ground in second at all.....i tried and tried...gave it to a friend of mine and he had that think 12 o'clock with no problem...

Think pulling a wheelie in 1st with 15/44 doable- power up wheelie only? Bike has full micron exhaust and pc3?
