That does scare me though. If you can't find the level check window how are you going to do an oil change and torque everything to spec? Good luck friend, you need all the luck you can get at this point!

Buy this at your local Advanced Auto or Dealer. Take a new filter with you so you know what size to get...

And then get someone to help you hold the bike upright the first time. You need to check the oil level after you warm the bike, shut if off, and then let is sit for a few minutes. Then check the oil with both tires on the ground. You can't use a stand.

·Don't buy it if you have aftermarket full exhaust--applicable to some. Not enough clearance from oil filter to headers.

Hey Nem, If you buy an offset ratchet you don't need to go through the headers. You can reach into the small side hole in the fairing and put the ratchet directly on the filter wrench.

Alright alright....... I was at a buddies house did not have my manual and did not know where to look... i had already done the oil change. everything went smooth she is good now. I had a blast down at the track this weekend had a spill but just some rashed fairings, a broke break lever, bar end, and some messed up leathers thanks for all the help... will post up again hopefully next time will be some more substantial
