Which exhaust systems exit straight, (straightest)?

I have narrowed my system choices down to three: Arata, Akrapovic and Arrow. I want to know if the Akrapovic and Arrow are as crooked as the Arata.

jardine
straightest on the planet

jardine was first
My jardine is straight as an arrow

My Leo Vince is pretty damn straight. http://600rr.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5796
my yoshi comes out nice and straight... but that wasn't on your list, sorry.
Akrapovic slip on came out real straight on my buddy's RR....that is until he flipped the thing down the road for 100 yards :twak:
Hum the jardine on the rr in my garage is slightly crooked...

this subject makes me laugh everytime. Yes the arata is crooked, as is the arrow. But they are like that for a reason. It allows that little bit more airflow and horsepower. There was actually a thread a while back where a guy asked if he could pound the arata straight? WTF!!!

get the arata....best value, best pipe, best gains, awesome sound....I got a video clip posted in the exhaust forum...
eazy e,

how does it not being straight add horsepower? If this is true, I may pound my jardine crooked
I can't stand the way the offset pipes look either. not on a street bike. Race bike yes.
akrapovic comes out crooked but can be straightened a little by using a washer.
Jardine, Yoshi, Laser, D&D... are the straight ones I have seen and installed thus far.

i wouldn't try pounding on anything....its just a directional fluid thing...the straighter of a path that something can travel, the more efficent...any bends or changes in the flow disrupt the movement. I don't know how much of a change, but the best pipes out there IMO, the arata, arrow, and akra are all like this...for a reason I think

My Jardine is prefectly straight as well.
The Moriwakis come out straight too.

The Arata is way off-center compared to the Akra and Arrow. And are the gains shown on respective Dynos that much better with the Arata over the Akra, Arrow and Jardine due to leaving the bend? I'm guessing the difference is so slight that only a serious racer or would (maybe) notice.
my akra is a bit crooked :|
