as you might know, the 06 only came with an allen wrench and a helmet strap in the "tool box"....so im wondering what tools would i need to do the suspension adjusting ? and which one is for adjusting what ?

# 6 is for adjusting rear preload13&14 are for adjusting the front preload and damping, as well as rear damping

teg, 21 adjusts the front preload, 20 and 6 might do the same thing the rear preload, your thumb nail is for adjusting rebound an dampning.. 9 is the rear axel bolt and 19 ummm yeah cant find my manuel..18 is the sleave you need to put on 20 or 6 to move the spring ..

Yeah, for 05-06's all you need for adjusting rebound and compression damping at both ends is a flat headed screw driver (or your thumb nail). For rear preload you'll need a pin spanner wrench like #6 or #20. A metric open ended wrench is all you need to adjust front preload, but I'm not sure how big. 22 mm maybe?

Don't forget #18 -- you need that for leverage when you use #6. In addition to that , you need a pflat scredwiver and a wrench (#14). But you can get these at any hardware store. Make sure the wrench is metric and not in inches. The size you need is 10/14 (as can be seen on the diagram)

PS: your diagram shows more tools than those that came with my 2004RR
