Winter Makeover about done! Now with Pics!!

I'm about to have all the parts i need to start my makeover on my 04 600RR. It should turn out really good. I'll keep everyone posted. I am swapping the tail to an 06 tail and the upper fairing to an 06 and shaving the front turn signal and installing a set in the headlights, converting the front end to an 06, lightwieght wheels, power commander, everything that isn't satin black will be powdercoated to said color, plastics will all be painted either a black with charcoal metal flake or dupont super black, might do the 50/50 colored tomahawk tires, will build a undertail to smooth out the ass end, possibly different gearing, new seat covers, and will be building custom pipe that will exit by the the right foot at the lower fairing with a silencer built into it. Don't worry about mapping, my brother runs a dyno and does a hell of job mapping metric bikes, so we'll do one for this. Feel free to post opinions or suggestions. I'll keep you all posted on the progress of the "Black Bitch".

Here's a pic of her as of right now.

Basically heres what i'm going off of, it will be just the pipe coming out on the lower right side by the rear set.

How are you planning on doing it? I was thinking of doing something like this but unless you do an open exhaust, there isn't room for a canister at all. The header is a 4-2-1 and it doesn't go down to one until just before it turns up to go to the underseat. I guess you could find a 4-1 header, and just throw a can onto it then the outlet pipe, but who knows how that would affect the performance of the bike.
Right, we're leaning towards welding a silencer that we'll rig up from a FMF silencer, into the header right towards the end of the header were it turns into one. We'll just replace the small section where the header turns into 1 with the built silencer, it will be a small silencer then build a tip to come of the lower. Obviously some back preasure will be lost but when mapped, and probably regeared it will make up for the lose of some low end. I'll know more when we tear in to it next month.
Is that an exhaust tip for automobiles? I like that man, its different. How did you attach it to the headers?

Here's the tires i'm considering, the wheels will be black by the way. Leaning more towards red.

If I ever repaint my bike...I'm going to paint it cow patterns and get those tires.

I took the stock F4i exhaust and cut it right where the can starts, then gave it the slash cut and polished up the edge. It's loud as fuk, and really hurts the low end, but I don't ride the bike like that. Often. :p
UPDATE New Tail On

Heres where I'm at right now, got the 06 subframe on and tail, the header just came in, so we'll start setting that up in a week or two. Stay tuned for more.

man, you need to host that picture on the web if you want the other to see it.

use "photobucket" or "imageshack"
I'll try to get some updated pics up soon, I got the 06 tail on the bike and will have the 06 front end on tomorrow. Also got the underbodies plastic piece from their undertail exhaust, I will either use it as a mold for the undertail i'll make or just mod this one to be flat and smooth.
Got the hotbodies undertail mounted and the 06 front end. Next is posting pics, sorry I havn't got around to it yet. I'll be ordering all my parts tomorrow that i need to get it back together and will start the exhaust soon, I got an 06 r6 silencer and we'll see if i can rig it up to my hindle header and build a tip for it.
i've heard that the tomohawk tires really suck, if you wanna pay for some colored tires go ahead, but they are gonna have really crumby traction
Update

alright, so my plans have changed slightly on my bike. 1st in building my exhaust ran into a problem, the only silencer that i could think to work was from a z1000 which was hard as hell to find and too much money. So, my full arrow moto gp replica will be here in like a week or two. I went with pirelli tires. All of my parts that aren't black are sandblasted, just waiting on my brother to powdercoat the items. I went with the g-craft res. in black from super bike supply. It looks great with my vortex rearsets, a perfect match. Got my vortex sliders installed, my GPR stablizer is on, the 06 front end is done, along with th 06 subframe. I'm rolling a fabbri double bubble windscreen, my pc3 is installed along with my speedhealer. I'm going to do the bodywork in a nice jet black. I'm going to run the new watsen turn signals, and tint my taillight transparent black. Everything on this bike will be black with the exception of the arrow exhaust, gotta leave the ti. alone. I'll have some pics up when i get the swingarm back on after powdercoat.

I totally agree with you on the G-Craft and Vortex combo. Looks great!

What's left and check out the pics

Here's where I'm at now, the plastics just need to be cut and buffed, a need a new left mirror(compliments of a drunk friend that thought it was a good place to lean), put on my galfer brake line on the rear, adjust my tail exhaust to center it up, add my stomp grips, add my tank protector, get my map done as soon as it gets alittle warmer, new seat covers, put on my new black watsen turn signals with running light module, and put on my air duct covers, and then the bike is good to go. I'll try to get a mod list going soon.
Sounds like a real cool project. Good luck with everything and I hope everything works out. I've got the whole winter mods thing going too not as much as you though. Be sure to post pics!!
Thanks for the compliment. So, here's some info on it. The bike is an 04 that's been updated to a 2006. The front and rear brake calipers, upper, air ducts, front end, subframe and tail fairing are all 06 models. I modded an 04 rear seat hook to work as a helmet hook, have g-craft brake res with vortex rearsets, galfter braided lines on the front and soon on the back, vortex frame and swingarm sliders, vortex gas cap, Power commander, speedhealer, 520 conversion, Fabbri doublebubble windscreen, tinted integrated taillight, tinted 3rd eye, GPR steering dampner, Prellia Tires, Tripage l.e.d. hugger and tag bracket, many powdercoated pieces, Arrow full TI Moto GP replica exhaust system, mesh on tail fairing, du pont jet black base/clear paint job, metal plates behind tank cover for a magnetic tank bag, pro grips, and a few more things to come.
