You'r license plate light probably just needs a new globe...

As far as a wiring diagram for the new light, that's pretty much impossible without knowing anything about that particular light (what colour wires on it are what), and it comes with a diagram already so why double up?

Once you receive it feel free to take a photo of the diagram they have supplied and I will be happy to tell you if it is correct or not, and what if anything you have to do to get it to work.

And your bolt lights should be connected in place of your current number plate light, not your running light. If the problem isn't just a blown globe I will help you fix that as well.

blown light globe... as in the light no longer works. A condition caused by the thinning of the tungsten element within the bulb to such a point as it can no longer withstand the mechanical stresses placed upon it causing failure in the form of it separating into at least two pieces, consequently there is no path for the current to take and therefore no light will be produced...
