Won't start after heavy rain (SOLVED)

Hello, I have a 2015 CBR600RR/RA ignition problem after riding in heavy rain. While it was raining there was no problem, but after I stopped for a short break the bike wouldn't start again. When turning the key, all the lights on the dashboard are checked together with the tachometer arrow. You can also hear the gas pump. When I press the start button, absolutely nothing happens. I started it on push and managed to get home. After a quick search on Youtube I found a video showing how to diagnose the problem. I found that by running positive to red wire with yellow on the starter relay, the motor starts right up. For the moment, I have opened the console with the start button and spray with contact cleaner. Do you think the problem is with the button or is there something else I haven't checked? I saw that there were 3 cables there and a spring. How do I get the button out of the console?

start-button or start-stop switch busted

Measure to know for sure which

1. measure voltage going into start-stop switch, volts = ???
2. start-stop switch = RUN, measure voltage going out, volts = ??

3. measure voltage going into start-button, volts = ???
4. push start-button, measure voltage going out, volts = ???

Look at start-button mechanism very carefully and figure out how it works. Are copper contacts corroded? Or bent out of shape so they don't make contact? Only replacement option is entire right-side control.

You really have to keep the control switches lubricated or they will corrode the contacts. I keep mine well lubed but even then it still gets stuck. Just the other day I was doing some service maintenance and the starter button got stuck in the ON position after the bike cranked. It's a very strange sound to hear the starter still engaging with the motor running. Sprayed it with more Yamalube Lubezall and worked the button until it stopped sticking.

I was able to fix the problem today. I think the start button was dirty. I took it all apart and cleaned it with contact spray. Then it started without any problem. I guess someone who is familiar with the mechanism of the button and knows how it works can explain in more detail what happened, but I think after water got in it made a bridge and from there there was a current leak. Everything works fine for now. It really needs to be lubricated regularly!
