So i bit the bullet, got 360 over the weekend.
it came with a free Gold membership for the month.

Of course, the first demo I dl'ed was Moto GP 06 (omg, awesome game).

My question is...when my subscription to gold runs out at the end of next month, will I still have all my demo's saved?

I figured I won't lose em since they are dl'd to the HD, but will the demo be deleted?

yes, the demo saves to the hard drive and can be used with or without xbox live. so my suggestion to you is to download all you can before your membership runs up.

You can buy a year membership on eBay for 25-35 bucks.

The downloads will be available when your gold subscription runs out. A gold membership costs like 50 bucks for the year. Just buy it.

even when membership runs out you can still access all the demos and sh1t, you will be downgraded to "silver" membership and still do anything in the Live marketplace. You just won't be able to play online versus anyone. Get halo2...and get on live like that...it will rock your socks off!
