I am debating whether or not to add a slip-on to my '05, my friend suggested Yoshimura RS-5 Slip-On Exhaust and I was wondering what the advantage of a carbon fiber finish compared to titanium or steel?

I also want to know how much louder it is compared to the stock exhaust?

Let me know

Thanks

I couldnt tell u in decibels how much louder a yoshi is, deff a bit louder and adds a certain growl to the sound. The only difference between a carbon fibre can and the stainless steel would be weight differences I'd say.

I have a carbon yoshi and it stays fairly cool so I took my heat shield off. No idea if the steel one gets hotter then Carbon but wouldn't be surprised if they did

I can touch my CF yoshi right after I ride. It's warm but not balls hot...

Also looks better IMO... And I'm assuming that's what most people go for.
