I have the two bros on my street 08, and it's already pretty damn loud. How did this affect the sound?

You guys think the volume increase has more to do w 2" of packing cming out or 2" of pipe being off. I like where mine sits but if I can take off like 2 or 3" of packing for better s9ound id be happy

Okay...I'm wanting to do this this weekend but all I have is a wired dremel. Anybody got a idea as to what blade I should use and or where I could find a decent "diamond cutting blade" that isn't 100 bucks???

Great job on the exhaust. When I see a two brothers that's the first thing my eyes go to. But this looks great.

I shortened my scorpion an inch and a half last night. Took about 45 Mins from unbolting it from the bike to rebolting it back up. Easy as cake with my dremel.

Photoshopped image to show how i wanted it to look.

Completed. Don't mind the tenderloin...it was Yummy

My tripage taillight is 100% visible now with the custom drop brackets i made. Heres a before of that. I dont have an after yet, looks the same but comes up about 1/2" less.

I just shortened my pipe and it looks amazing now. People can see my integrated taillight now!I used a dremel to cut the pipe which was easy. It took ~1.5 blades but unfortunately, I had to dip into my 5 pack I bought from HD.*Caution* When you put the end piece back on, check to make sure it is straight as it can get twisted. If you look at the bolts, it's twisted compared to the original. I saw it after I rivetted it back together. :(

I don't see why not. You're doing the same procedure with the same end result, just a different material

i know this is an old post, but for anyone who was concerned about heat damage from the shortened pipe...ive got about 5-600 miles on my shorted black series and so far so good. the misses hasnt complained of the heat bothering her either but its still pretty early on in the season. ill post back later on

I've got aluminum series and no issues except at certain speeds our "bubble" will create low pressure and pull heat to her back. Other theb that nothing
