I was repacking my exhaust (Megacycle) and didnt quite have enough packing. Ended up cutting 65mm off the end. It is tidy now, end of can sits under the bike just where the brake light starts. Need to move my plate and indicators further under now.

Didn't notice it get any louder, guessing shorter pipe + new packing cancelled that out.

Dkid what was the official length you cut off? 2 3/8?

Yes that was the final length I settled on. It worked out great and the pipe now sits pretty flush with the end of the tail.
