How do I reinstall throttle cables- Tube Side

Okay so I just replaced my throttle cables but I can't remember how the cables attached to the tube. Please help.

PS I know the photos aren't correct. I just put them there so you could tell me which cable to move where

You basically have the tube 180 degrees turned around; the cables 'reach' around the circumference of the cam and slot into it. It can be helpful to slack out the pull cable the entire way for more play to get he cable ends seated.

That did the trick! now one last question, should there be a tiny amount of slack on the throttle bodies side? I have about half a finger of slack but the throttle feels great. I just want to make sure I don't leave anything loose.

Yeah, I mean you don't want to be at the edge of the adjustment range on either end. I guess try to get it so that you are about in the middle of the range on the clipon end, no matter where that puts the throttle body end (since it's easier to adjust at the clipon)
