The rear is a Sportmax Q2. The front D209 is the next higher grade, a race/track day specific tire in a medium compound. They both work great for anything you throw at them (canyon carving, track days, racing) plus they last pretty long. These new breed of tires are really fantastic! But, of course, nothing is cheap anymore! You pay for what you get in technology but with tires, it's well worth it! I've road raced on both types and they seem impeccable!

oops, haven't had time to to post up but the rear Q2 is sold. Sorry. Have the nice slightly used D209 GPA front available. It's the next higher level and good for street, canyon or track. medium compound will last as long as a Q2. $50, you pick up. Fallbrook, hwy's 15/76 intersection. Or any track day in SoCal/Nev in Sept.

Well, it certainly depends on the rider's style, abilities, the track surface, etc. Here in SoCal, we all run the mediums cuz the tracks are fairly abrasive and it's usually hot. I'd say for the average "B" group rider on a 600, It has 4,000 miles left on it commuting wise and probably 4-5 more full track days, 2-3 races. It really hasn't been used that much. Mostly during testing and suspension set up.

Sorry but the rear Q2 has been sold! Just the front GPA D209 left.
