Track Bodywork: CHEAP!

Hey guys, I found the following item on eBay. It's a complete set of fiberglass track bodywork for the 07/08s (and possibly the 09s). Only $220 and that INCLUDES shipping! I couldn't resist the price so I ordered a set myself. If it sucks, who cares it's only $220! I'd do a review but he only has 3 sets left so they'd probably be gone before I got a chance to do it. I don't know the seller, am NOT affiliated with them in any way and haven't even seen the set I ordered yet so don't blame me if you order one and don't like it. I just though I'd share what I found. Here's the link:

just in case

i don't live that far away, if there's enough interest, I can bring my camera when I go, and take some pictures, as the ebay site said to just come down and see it.

Hey, it arrived today. The guy actually sent it 2 Day! It's not that bad and it's better than another set I bought awhile ago. It's a little heavy, which he said in the description but it's just for track days so I don't care about the weight. For what I paid I'm EXTREMELY happy! The guy even called to see if it had arrived today! Last I checked there were only 3 sets left so anybody interested better hurry.

put it on

yeah, they said there's a $380 version comming out, thats more flexible, and lighter, but its less durable. the guy also said that if i rode my bike there... he would put it on FOR me. so that may be something i might have to take up on. do you have pictures?

No pics yet, I didn't think there'd be time to do a whole "write-up". It's not perfect but it's MORE than worth the $220! I'll check the eBay sale and if he's still got some for sale after I finish painting it, I'll post some pics.

availability

i dunno.. it still says 3 available, though u have one... so i'm not too sure that 3 is true.. but either way, good stuff, super damn cheap. i can't believe they shipped that all the way from LA to georgia, and still made money, while charging only $220

Cost me $150, as I did not have to have them ship it. all the parts fit decently well, except that the right side has about a 1 inch gap from the tank fairing, and the left side has 3/4 of a cm gap. worked just fine for me at the track day this past weekend, and is pretty easy to put on / off.

First time, it took a bit to make sure things wouldn't crack in half, but now that I know the limits of the fiberglass, i have no worries about that.

Is that what you were running at Big Willow? It didn't look half bad. Maybe I should get it and have Serg's brother paint it, haha

yeah, thats what i was running at willow springs. it came with a front fender too, but i didn't have enough time. just a few holes to drill, and thats about it, i put it on in about 2 hours or so.

i halfassed the paint pretttty bad, as i didn't want to do more coats, and then have the paint not dry by the TD.

Well it looked decent. Hell its just track plastics. I'm gonna hit up Serg and ask how much it would be to paint. I still have my Graffiti fender to that I wouldn't mind if I wrecked in so its ok to go. I don't mind doing prep work, just suck at painting, haha
