Exclamation GOP candidate who is your pick

To be honest it seems that the GOP race is narrowed down to three runners.

Ron Paul

Mitt Romney

Newt Gingrich

most of you know i support Ron Paul.

but would like to take a current poll to see who is ahead in the GOP race as far as Dotnet goes.

thanks for voting.

hate on me for loving my country and trying to spread the word of somebody that would actually do it some good.
im just a citizen. being in the military it is YOUR job to defend the country, not just take orders, keep that in mind.

SOMEBODY was supposed to give me some PROOF

cant remember exactly what about, but apparently it was going to make me feel different about ron paul.

still waiting, interested, i want to see it.

Obama- signed NDAA bill. treason.
Romney- things the fed is a non issue, thinks Bernake is doing a 'good-job'

Paul- life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

newt has no chance, i figure right now its still just romney and paul. santorum had his extremist christian followers in iowa, but the majority of us know he is a fuggin douche.

santorum was voted like #6 most corrupt politician in 2006. iirc

also, gio this is for you.
he is very outspoken about what people do behind closed doors as far as sexual acts and preference. idk why he thinks its his bizness but it seems that he would have Gio locked up for doing what he does best.

dont think his surge will last though,

mitt fukn romney.
where to start, lets start with his flawed foreign policy.
this is taken straight from his own website.
read carefully, the vagueness is the good part.
"Our country today faces a bewildering array of threats and opportunities. As president, Mitt Romney will safeguard America and secure our country’s interests and most cherished ideals. The unifying thread of his national security strategy is American strength. When America is strong, the world is safer. It is only American power—conceived in the broadest terms—that can provide the foundation for an international system that ensures the security and prosperity of the United States and our friends and allies.

A Romney foreign policy will proceed with clarity and resolve. Our friends and allies will not have doubts about where we stand and what we will do to safeguard our interests and theirs. Neither will our rivals, competitors, and adversaries. The best ally world peace has ever known is a strong America. The “last best hope of earth” was what Abraham Lincoln called our country. Mitt Romney believes in fulfilling the promise of Lincoln’s words and will defend America abroad in word and in deed.

"

what that means to me is, as long as america gets what it wants there wont be any problems. dont start no sh^t wont be no sh^t,

the kicker is the words of "interests, and ideals"
basically, we will take what we want and tell you you like it. lol.

his healthcare reform. basically everybody pays more in things like home owner taxes and such things, so that health care will be given to everybody who can not afford it.
not sure how i feel about that.

hoping Paul can pull this year's election off otherwise.

"Some say the end is near. / Some say we'll see Armageddon soon. / I certainly hope we will. / I sure could use a vacation from this / Bullshit three ring circus"

heres my .02 on RP. i think he is a fantastic human being and hes got my vote. i can appreciate his constistency despite the fact that i dont agree with some of the stuff he believes. he is a constitutionalist which gives him the appearence of being a radical which throws a lot of people off. i think americans need to understand one thing when i come to RP. yes, he is quite radical but putting him in office DOES NOT mean all (or even the majority of) his policies are going to be instituionalized. remeber that the president has to go through congress. whats important about RP is that he is radical enough to incite the change this country needs; the breakaway of big government, thus leading to less govt corruption, thus eliminating a lot of the corruption in big business. we need a Consitutionalist in office in order to counteract what this country has become.

my only concern, and im interested to hear what you guys think.
RP wants to pull out of afghanistan ASAP and realizes that we cant afford any wars in the mid east. he wants to cut military spending. i believe that all this with the inclusion of eliminating big govt will substantially help the deficit. however, is balancing the budget worth it when it could potentially come at the expense of terrorist attacks and the lives of soldiers and civilians? this is question we have to ask ourselves. the answer could either be yes or no.

personally i find this to be an impossible decision for our administration to make. this nation is in a very unique position. the way i see it, we can only do one or the other when i comes to balancing the budget or maintaining our military presence abroad. we cant do both because, with the current state of our nation, they are contradictory.
if we maintain/increase our military presence, its going to be extremely difficult to pull our nation out of our deficit. if we focus on the economy andbalance the budget at the expense of military spending, we are subjecting ourselfs from foreign attacks, namely Iran.

thoughts?

You really should stop listening to the propaganda about Iran. Iran is the least of your worries. It's kind of disturbing how real his predictions are though.

i think as far as the people of this country think, he does have a chance.

dont forget , for the people by the people.
there is nothing wrong with getting back to that place ya know...

i dont fear 'terrorist' threats, as far as i am concerned what i fear most is our gov now.
especially with the NDAA signed into law.

if we were not fuking with everybody i dont think we would have as many issues.

and, just like the War on Drugs, the War on Terror is a joke, and a stupid stupid idea.
you cannot fight and win a war on terror... well i take that back, if we kill everybody opposed to us, then yes i guess we could, and it seems that is what people on the hill are aiming for.

i fear the worse for our country honestly, nothing seems to be getting better. and if somebody like Paul were in the whitehouse we would stand a chance to fix our issues, if not, we're straight fuked.

paul wants to cut our offense, not our defense, we would still be the most protected country and have the strongest military in the world. what americans are told to fear is an idea. and its a lie.

spread the message of peace and respect,
ronpaul 2012

I don't think you understand just how far/deep the corruption goes. The GOP doesn't want RP, big business doesn't want RP, and he's going to eventually be pushed to the side, even if that means losing another round to Obama who's much more status quo than RP will ever be. They'd rather keep things roughly the same and continue to f^ck over mullions of people than let someone like RP get in and start making some real changes.

My guess is that RP will be marginalized and be pushed off the ticket, at which point he'll probably run as a 3rd party candidate. It will be another Ross Perot/Ralph Nader event where he siphons off just enough GOP support to split the vote handing Obama the win.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see it happening... People are just not pissed enough right now. They are still too busy watching bullsh*t on tv to realize how f^cked things are. Like many on this board who continue to point fingers back and forth, playing into the BS game... Refusing to acknowledge the true reality of the situation. I think RP will do rather well, but he still needs 1 more election cycle for his message to sink in/hit home for many. By that time he will be too old, hell he's practically too old now.

I'd love to see him win, I think America desperately needs someone like him. I honestly fear what an America/World looks like in 10 years.

honestly phil, i am aware of the depth of corruption. not that i try to turn a blind eye to it, but i want to attempt to stay optimistic and spread a message of love and respect over fear.

i dont say this often, but RP is the kind of president that when elected, gets forcefully removed, like lincoln, or jfk... great presidents that are removed not by lone gunmen, but by massive shadow monsters that oppose liberty and equality.

to me 'status quo' doesnt rep the general publics view, it represents the elite's view.

i still that speaking of stuff like NWO and things of that nature are taboo, some people think you are crazy if you voice that type of opinion.
but, when i look around, it seems that somebody is pulling the strings in a direction that favors that idea.

there has been a covert war being waged on america for a long long time now, and its coming to the point of no return in my opinion.

RP has support, but yes, the people pulling the strings do hold power, and are not afraid to use it.

i too hope you are wrong, i hope he gets elected i hope that the people start to own this country again.
