Charge dismissed against student who refused to remove NRA shirt

Do you see your rights slipping away? Your president is happy that they are. At least we still have "some" protection.

Quote:
The West Virginia eighth-grader arrested after refusing a teacher's demand he remove a National Rifle Association T-shirt he wore to school won't face criminal charges after all.
Jared Marcum, 14, was charged with obstruction following the April 18 incident after police who were called to Logan Middle School school said he refused to stop talking. The case generated national headlines, as Marcum's family and attorney, Ben White, claimed the demand that he remove the NRA shirt violated his right to freedom of speech. On Thursday, Logan County Circuit Judge Eric O'Briant signed an order dismissing the charge.

That's a gangsta pose no wonder they gave him sh!t. If he were to rock the hello kitty backpack, they would have let it slide.

lol!

seriously tho,
this country is fvckin sad, to even waste the time to confront that kid for something that petty/minor.
there are worse things printed on tshirts that kids and adults wear nowadays.

I saw a guy in San Francisco on the street with a black shirt, bright yellow and very large lettering front and back.

It said "jesus is a CU**".

lmfao! ^^^^
doesnt surprise me coming from san fran. hahaha. it could be jesus (haysoos), his mexicano ex lover that hes calling a CVNT. lmfao.
or he could be part of or subdivision of the occupy movement (non economic division), to test the waters of the 1st amendment.
bwahahahaha. or maybe he prayed to the lord and didnt get his wishes/prayers to come true and now hes pissed off at him and wants to show all of san fran how mad he is. lol.
i can go on and on for all the reasons for that shirt. my points is, its still his opinion and his right. its up to you how you want to interpret and react to that logo on his shirt.
and yea, i think its worse than wanting to advertise protecting your 2nd amend right. worse, imo, only because it displays foul language.

His shirt simply states his support for the nra........no reason he shouldn't be allowed to have that. He's not condoning anything illegal.

If one kid can wear a national basketball association shirt why can't another wear a national rifle association shirt?

Either mandate school uniforms or allow freedom. Either one is fair to me. But picking and choosing one over the other is not fair.
