sidestand woes Monday FUNNIES

2004 600rr
I managed to drop my bike not once but TWICE yesterday in my parking lot. WTF?
First time i was on the right side putting air in tires. I stood the bike up and moved it FWD a little , then went to put it back down on the stand and yep it just kept going lol... into the side of my cla250. Luckily no damage to either car or bike.

You think i would have learned from this but nope! Later that night got home from a ride , i put the kickstand down, i was playing with the bars just looking at the steering lock left to right, turned them all the way to the left and got off the bike, and it almost fell on top of me, i fell backwards and hit the back of my head , luckily had my helmet on LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it just my kickstand that sucks or am i just a complete idiot? I got used to my ninja 250 and not paying much attention to the kickstand if i was moving the bike around a bit, it just always worked. But I will definitely be ultra careful from now on.

Sounds like bike and you are OK, so it's a learning experience.

Sounds like you're just being a complete idiot

Second incident confused me though, if the sidestand was down, how did the bike nearly fall on you?
You do get off on the same side as the stand, don't you?

I hope it wasn't an expensive helmet that you headbutted the floor with......

I must have moved the kickstand a little before I jumped off. Just something I will never do again. And ya it's a rf1200. But wasn't that hard a hit. Bah I don't care will keep using it
