Any ideas!

Anyone know what this thin lead/pipe is that runs up the side beneath the riders seat,it goes just under the rear cowl/tail unit and is not connected to anything,is it a breather of some kind?

looks like a control cable, like for the clutch, or that kind of thing.

The only thing that goes to the rear and middle of the bike, IIRC is the exhaust valve in the muffler?

17 CBR600rr some small free mods.

It has an after market silencer,so maybe/possibly an old pipe to the previous one fitted

I’ve had the bike running while looking at this tube/pipe and it does still have a faint vacuum when I put my finger over the end,may have to strip the fairings off to see where it’s coming from,was going to seal it off,but unsure of its use!
