REPOSTING this here for more visability had it posted on troubleshooting forum.
Been slowly working on getting my cbr 600rr back to running conditions after sitting for couple years.
The fan isnt turning activating once it reaches 220F, I have swapped out the relays to see if that could be the issue, bike still turns on when swapping the fuel pump relay and fan relay. The fan fuse visibly is fine, swapped with a spare just incase.
I have grounded the wire at the ECM and fan spins, also grounded under the fuse box and in both instances it spins.
I have removed thermostat and tested it using the manual procedure, it opens and closes fine.
The temps displays fine on the gauge.
Was hoping someone here has delt with similar issue and can help me solve this problem. I was going to just place the fan on a switch but decided not to since it would just be masking whatever issue is causing it not to activate during operation.
I have burp the system as well as i could possibly do it to remove any air, in my opinion gone above and beyond what the manual instructs to get whatever possible air bubbles out. Coolant has been flushed, over 6 times with distilled water.
I am also taking any shop recommendations in the houston area, if i cant solve this myself might just need to take it to one.
Thanks in advance.
