Anybody go to the Nashville SuperSpeedway?

There was actually a trackday there today, and also tomorrow. Wondering how it compares to other tracks.

everybody tells me that it's not really worth what they charge for that track..I heard it is overpriced and the track sucks.
I've never been on it so I can't really say if thats true or not, but it is just an oval track

Ha, sorry to here about the wreck Jamie. How's the bike?

Dr. spank, thanks, that's what I've heard. I'm just so close to the track, I thought I might try it. Maybe I'll just save my time and money for a legit track. Maybe Barber. Been there?

Barber rocks!

Jennings is 2 for 1 compared to most tracks! Come out with a bunch of us in July!

I haven't done a trackday yet, but my neighbor has done quite a few and he really liked jennings...It's also one of the cheapest... But of course it will also cost a little more to get there. Everybody seems to like Barber and Taledega

I need a stator cover, some zip ties, and some duct tape and It's ready to ride again.

Nashville was pretty fun, a bit rough...but it was ok. I'm hoping the dirt on T2 didn't lead to my high side too. That rear end gave way QUICK.

Here's a small vid. My 10 min one is still uploading.

Yep, you've OBVIOUSLY never been on the track. I ridden there 5 or 6 times over the last couple of years and it is actually a very challenging track with a very fast straightaway, all the way down to a first or second gear left-hander turn two. The transitions from the oval to the paved infield can be very challenging if you don't know what you are doing, and the transition from the infield back to the oval can put you on your ass also. So to say the track sucks is about as far from wrong as you can get. As far as cost goes, I would say that it is actually VERY fairly priced. For the cost of admission you also get a very nice COVERED garage,
WITH electricity (read No generators needed for tire warmers, etc), convenient and clean bathrooms, and there is also a pretty nice camping area if you are into that sort of thing.

Cool, maybe I will have to try it out. Might as well, it's so close to home.
