Pics of me at the corkscrew at Laguna Seca

Sorry I didnt buy the CD of pics, so your going to have to look through this link, but these are priceless. An R1 rider bows in appreciation of my bike/skills. Just click the right arrow at the bottom of the pic to see the sequence where HE (#612, Im #40) puts on his dirt cape.

What is a .gif. ?

I was back in the photo trailer looking at my form, and I see this pic of a guy on all fours behind my bike. Never new it even happened. I had a go-pro camera mounted on my bike, but it was on the front of my bike facing me, so I block out most of the pic, but I do see a dust cloud for a sec.

Very cool. I'm just glad the guy didn't get hurt and the bike was able to ride again.

EDIT : On a side note, I hate you guys that live near awesome tracks.

nice pics but it's an R6 (99-02) not an R1, you can tell from the front cowl in one of the pics.

After I knew the guy was okay, I just had to share these pics of the R6 (I stand corrected) rider wiping out behind me, PLUS the dirt cape

I think Laguna is definetly a nice track, but you are paying about $100 for the name. Thunderhill in Willows, Ca is an equally nice surfaced track, with lots of elevation changes and different cambered corners. Plus they have 2 huge metal canopies and outlets for power everywhere. I think tracks like Infineon and Laguna could make there facilities alot better so to justify the cost.

Working nights it is benifical for me to ride on Mon., Fri. and weekends, and is tough to ride midweek for one day, since that requires 2 days off for one day of riding.

Being from Wisconsin I would LOVE to ride Road America, since I go back and visit family once a year. I enquired about a place that I could rent/borrow a sportbike so I could ride there but no one seems to do this back there. There is at least 2 places in the Bay Area that rent sportbikes and MOTOGIO will deliver a bike for you to ride at Laguna. Anyone in the Midwest interested in doing a trackday/bike swap/share let me know.
