Nice meeting you too man................

Today went shitty for me, I couldn't get my tires to hook up correctly, I couldn't really enjoy myself at all.

Some folks had some issues, but I'll let them tell you the story.....................

haha Dexxx. Yea I had some issues with my first session, lowside in turn 8, late in the session.

I think it was a combination of street tires on that hot asphault and bad form. no damage to me.

Bike damage included:
-temp. sensor broke
-left foot peg
-shifter lever
-various damage to my plastics (thank God i put on that spare set)
-rash on my stator cover
-my swingarm threads, where the spools screw in broke off :(

Good news is i was able to find replacement shifter and footpeg and run the last 2 sessions. I was a little slow at first, having a hard time getting my confidence back but by the last session i was fully leaned again, kept a good eye on my form, and ran a pretty fast pace.

I'll definately be going back ASAP.

It was also nice meeting Dexxx

Turn 8 gets everybody sooner or later. I tried to go through there without brakes! lol Needless to say I didnt make it through...
Good thing about that turn is its not high speed. My bike wasn't damaged at all, just a couple scratches.

KyleRR it was nice meeting you too, that heat was unbearable for me, but I still tried to go out there and focus and enjoy myself it just wasn't happening.

Your rear end was stepping out a lot on you once you came back after your crash. I could see it when I was behind you.

Turn 8 is a bitch, I try and take it easy through 8 and hold as far inside as I can. Hope to meet you out there one day.........

yea it did. But that was mostly my fault. I was accidently shifting into first instead of 2nd before a turn. just kind of forgot what gear I was in. I think i did it twice, once before turn 13 and once before 7.

either way, didn't really scare me, knew how to control it. just had to check myself, did a lot better in the 3rd session.

I think the main problem with turn 8 is that people try to enter it too fast. I like to get hard on the brakes coming out of 7, while pointing right at the apex for 8. Be slow enough so I can be on the throttle as I start 8, then use the throttle to push myself out to mid-track on the exit.
