My girl on her track bike

Last year, bought a wrecked 07. Bike was practically brand new and still had nubs on the tires.

After a few triips to ebay, and of course a few local race parts suppliers, we managed to get the bike together and onto the track.

Shes taken a FAST course, and has been on the track about 8 times now.

She is doing great!! and were gradually getting the gremlins outta the bike.

Here is a before and a couple aft pics

Hey that's cool as hell! It always amazes me to see wrecked bikes brought back to life like that. Keep up the awesome work!

She is hooked worse than me. It is fantastic to be able to share that and do track days together, however, the flip side is worrying. I have seen her crash, (The same day that picture was taken), and it's tough, but, overall, well worth it.

You Sir, are a lucky man............I know, my wife does trackdays with me also. The picture shows her last year on her '03 600RR (Red & Black). Over the winter I bought her an '04 600RR and made it into a track only bike. She runs in the I group with STT and get this...........she will be 57 years old in November this year, and I'll be 55 years old. The reason that you don't see a knee on the deck is that she is only 5' 2 1/2" tall and it is almost impossible to get her knee down........but ask anyone that has seen her on the track........she ain't afraid to lean the bike over.....it's almost scary sometimes when I'm following her.

Here is a pic of her and I at the Overlook at Deal's Gap taken a few years ago. We live 18 miles from the start of the "Dragon".
