My (Niner's) Trackday Thread

Figured, I am privileged enough to get to quite a few trackdays a year, why not track it somehow. See others do the same so what they hell lol.

Well first a picture from back in 06 when I did my FIRST trackday (at Homestead Speedway - with Peguinracing.com)

Ranks up there at the top of course ;)

2006 - Homestead Speedway

Oh yea, look at that body position! LOL

2007 (Feb) - Homestead Speedway

Oh yea! LOL - Also with Penguin Racing.

2007 (May) - JenningsGP

I'm trying! lol As you can see at this point I bought a dedicated trackbike.

2007 (July) - JenningsGP

2007 (Nov) - Homestead Speedway

again with Penguin, I think... But can't seem to find any pix.

Come 2008 I really started to pick thing up and began to understand a variety of things regarding the track. I got to do a LOT more trackdays in 08 and started control riding in 2008 as well.

Jan of 08 - JenningsGP

In June I was t-boned while control riding at Homestead in T6, left me with a broken shoulder, so the next weekend I decided to take the 1000RR out to Jennings (the 600RR was totaled at that point)

July of 08

Then I healed up for a while, went back to Jennings in Oct of 08. But can't find pix...

Sept of 08

2009 has been mostly all control riding, not much real play time. But it's awesome and I am privileged to have the chance to help others!

Jan 09 Homestead Speedway - Again no real pictures...

But lots of videos!

Jan 09 - JenningsGP

March of 09 - Homestead Speedway

April 09 - Testing of PBIR's new facility. (did 2 trackdays at PBIR in April)

May 09 - Homestead Speedway (+1 trackday at PBIR in May)
Again no real pix, but plenty of videos!

June of 09 - Homestead Speedway - can't find pix... (+1 trackday at PBIR)

July of 09 - we did 1 trackday at PBIR then headed to Jennings for our gottrack.net event! Lots of pix!

August of 09 - PBIR - we did a trackday at PBIR last Sunday and I am heading back to PBIR tomorrow (Friday) I think that will be in until Sept.

We have 2 TD's scheduled for PBIR next month AND 1 at Homestead on the 13th.

So over the last couple years I have been lucky enough to get into trackdays and was able to learn quite a bit.

I have been PRIVILEGED to be able to control ride for a number of different organizations and have since started my own.

I get to instruct and tech inspect for FloridaTrackdays.com at everyone of their events in addition to being the instructor for PBIR and get to attend their trackday that they have every other Friday afternoon.

Hope to one day get to ride with you!

Still workin on it. Fvckin insurance companies suck. I am gonna be there by hook or by crook! I am not missing this one unless I am dead or homeless. Hoping to see you before that at Homestead or PBIR. I want to ride PBIR in November and if I can get everything together Homestead in September. Thinking about Daytona in October but if it doesent work out I may be at PBIR earlier than expected.

Sorry to hear Eric, well hope those idiots make things right man!

Definitely let me know when/if you decide to come down. I am heading out to PBIR this afternoon :)

We'll be back to PBIR on the 28 then again on Sept 11th.

Then we do Homestead on the 13th.

I am thinking about hitting up Barber in October... Not sure yet $$$ is still tight.

Yea December at Jennings is going to be AWESOME! I can't wait!

You look slow. LOL! Just kiddin' bro. Man, I miss going to the track so much. I've only been one time this year and it was only for a couple of sessions to test ride the new R1.

nice! i kind of miss the trackdays here but i got burned out after staying there for 2 months doing nothing but tuning our RVF400's carb & suspension, guess what, i was the the test rider as well as the carb & suspension tuner.

when i get my forks sorted out i'm going to take my bike out again for a test & tune session. i'm jealous of you guys that can go out & do a trackday at any given time.

soon....... very soon. :D
