Ahhhhhh! This is so enticing. But I don't want to run the risk of getting addicted prior to a big test that I have in a month and getting distracted with thoughts on how to better my riding and taking nice turns...FML :(

Ride as if there is a tomorrow to live for.

I always have some of my best ideas at work or solve some really complex problems I have at work the next day after hitting the track. Yes you think about it, but overall your mindset is cleared after hitting the track.

Just Do It!!

Haha, I wish it were the same for me. I followed your proposed method of approaching things and purchased my 600rr, when I originally said that I'd reward myself after performing well on the test. At one point, I found a good deal, and was like, "Hell, just get it and be disciplined." I've had my bike for 9 months now, and I've put 10,000+ miles on her :( I'll track it afterwards for sure. Thanks for the input though. I wish my brain were like yours in that aspect :)

my reply to you is what is YOUR definition of a first timer... to me it means many things when you don't quote the full message. first time up to bat... 1st time having sex... 1st time eating a hot link...

if your referring to Rob's post, I'll quote him again:

Quote:
FIRST TIME TRACK RIDERS!

Come out and ride with us this weekend for ONLY $80!! Thatís right! If you have never been on the track before,
I think his message is pretty clear cut.
If you don't think it's clear enough for ya, get a dictionary!

please stop stocking me/rob/TrackXperience, thanks!

Wowza, its getting hot in here all of a sudden. Am I missing something? That question seemed pretty harmless, lol.
