An unofficial Track in Tucson, Arizona
I posted this a few days ago under "suspension", then someone said that it is supposed to be here. Sorry about my mistake.
Hey folks, in case any of you live near here (Tucson, Arizona) I just found a great little track that's open to us five days a week ! It's the Musselman Honda Kart racing track, apparently a replica of the one at Suzuka in Japan. It's a lot bigger than your typical toy go-kart track, and seems little used...so $60 buys you a day pass to be out there alone racing around on your own bike however you want. I'm not that good, but I suspect a "sporting" rider could hit about 100 mph on the straights...me, I hit about 65 on my 2005 CBR600RR! In any case, you get to scrub your tires right to the edge
! I like to practice cornering, but not where there's cars or police...this place is perfect, and the operators are very friendly and accommodating. Thought someone else might be interested. Web site is "www.mhcircuit.com".
Have fun, and keep the rubber side down. Doug
