I had some crazy close calls because of some dumb asses in B group on North. The only 'oh ****' moment of where I would have **** in my pants was right at turn 7 where someone cuts me off when I was breaking and about to turn in, then he breaks hard, slowing down to like 35 of where I was slowing down from 100ish and when he cuts me, I was going about 90 right around brake marker 5.
I ended up doing a crazy stoppie right around turn marker 4 or 3, like 45 degree's, and because I was already somewhat slightly turned to the right for the curve, I landed the rear tire wrong and got a small tank slapper and kept on going straight onto the track runoff. If that was grass, I would have ate it. This was the session right before lunch and told two CR's.
I saw one guy in green leathers ate it at the same place where I did my stoppie and he too said someone cut him off. reason why they did the rider's meeting again at Lunch to tell people to stop riding like dicks out there. Seriously, pitting in and waiting that extra 30 seconds to get clean track does help. Did that 7 times yesterday and well worth the wait.
I also saw a red sv650 the 2nd to last lap on the last session of where he cuts me and VFR off at turn 7 while we were already turning in. Freaked the VFR guy out and was surprised too. We ended up slowed down to like 45 to avoid that fucker in that curve.
Personally, I don't like North course. I know it takes longer to learn it, but I didn't feel as comfortable like I was with South right away, even after my wreck down there. I blame the pilot powers. Should have ran the dunlop ama 209's on my spare rims like I was going to, but figured since a few ppl had pp's and doing good, I stayed with them. never again.
