Trackdays for 2011

How many do you plan on doing this year?

I plan on doing at least 1 a month, I'm pretty close so far.

Below is what I have booked.

January - Auto Club Speedway
February - Adams Kart Track (Supermoto)
March - Streets of Willow (Corner Working)
April - Auto Club Speedway
May - Open
June - Streets of Willow (Corner Working)
July - Open
August - Buttonwillow
September - Chuckwalla
October - Chuckwalla & Streets of Willow
November - Open
December - Open

I'm hoping to try and do one of KTM's Fly and Ride days at the Mid-Ohio course sometime this year. We have a satellite office and I may need to go out there, so...do a little work, and a little play.

December, I may try and do STAR w/Jason Pridmore again out at Chuckwalla.

I'm considering getting a supermoto too, I'll know more after this February trackday coming up. If so, $40 trackdays..here I come!!

I've heard that Buttonwillow has earned a new moniker of Bumpywillow.

I haven't been there in at least 4 years and turn 3 wasn't exactly smooth back then.

Just how bad is it?

Say..compared to the skid pad at Streets 2 years ago?

Won't be NEARLY as many as last year (just over 30 last year) but definitely more than 12. At about 5 different tracks.

JGP, HMS, PBIR, Barber and Road Atl.

If there was a track close enough to my city I'd do them every weekend. Unfortunately I have to take a ferry each time. Not cheap.

Anyways, I hope to get in 5-10 by doing double headers on the weekends I go.

At least 12 for me, hopefully closer to 20. Lots of NJMP now that Monticello is out for bikes, maybe some Summit Point, would like to try Loudon and Pocono too.

Hey I could highly recommend the STAR school for anyone else thats thinking about it, I went to his school (SoW) thinking I would learn a few things here and there but it ended up being WAY above my initial expectations, really enjoyed it... i'd even go so far as to say that Jason underprices his events.

I'm thinking about going to Chuckwalla with him in December again this year. Anybody that might be interested in this, LMK so we can get the group discount HOOKUP!!!

We used to call it "Butt-h*le Willow"

I haven't been there in a while either. I Don't plan on going back.

I hope to get in 3-5 trackdays this year, and at least one at Seca.
