Mod Porn! What'd you do to your bike this winter?

Me, I lost my freaking mind, just hope I have some scratch left over to go do track days.

Here's my list:

Yoyodyne slipper clutch (tasty), bazzaz zfi-qs (can't wait to do full throttle upshifts!), gear indicator, dunlop q2's, stock suspension re-valve and tweak, zero gravity corsa (the big ugly), vesrah pads, full fluid flush, new renthal kevlar grips, two bros slip on finally installed, and an HRC quick throttle.

All I have left is to dyno the bazzaz and I'm done, unless I find a good deal on Marchesini or BST's, full akra, master cylinder, full ohlins, ah who am I kidding, are we ever done?

Here's some mod porn for ya

Slipper and grips

Two Bros

i wish i had a slipper last year! man, learning to GP shift is a riot when you go the wrong way and the bike stands straight up and spits you off into the grass HAHA

then on monday mornings it was the opposite... 2nd gear starts haha.

No pics @ the moment. I'm still in the process. Woodcraft Sliders, track plastics, subtracted all the street required equipment, 520 kit -1 +2, still need a set of tires.

I know EXACTLY what you are talking about bro. I had to switch my street bike to gp as I was going gear retard on both bikes.

I know, I know, eat me, LOL, just kidding. It came with the bike, so I figured I might as well use the big ugly sperm whale instead of making it into a paperweight. But if anyone wants to trade for an akra, I'm all ears! In all honesty, I don't think any slip on really does much for a bike, and the price for a full exhaust with the reward of a couple horses isn't worth 5 track days to me either, so the sperm whale is staying!, haha.

I am far too liberal with the middle finger smilie on this forum I think...

I've got Vortex rearsets on mine, I am real happy with them. I actually lost a washer one day, and instead of the whole thing falling off, it just came loose and I couldn't upshift. I could downshift however, so I got stuck in 1st gear at Summit Main. Let me tell you, it is quite the experience being buzzed by guys doing 160 when you are doing 40

But, they are engineered that way, and a little loctite and I was back in business, got me through the rest of the day, then called Vortex and they immediately sent me out the parts free of charge.

I will probably be going keyless next year, but I have to stop now for this year or I will be completely broke...

Nice! I will probably go to the 520 kit next year or when this chain wears out. I am already -1, but I think the +2 would be perfect.

I got the new Dunlop q2's this year, but after they wear out I may try a set of Ntecs (UK). Supposed to be a pretty spectacular tire. Let us know what you end up going with, cheers

Hmm, mods since the winter? Lets see I put on 1000RR monoblocks, getting new Brembo RCS, Brembo clutch lever, need to mount my Brembo rear MC, Spiegler front lines to replace the Galfer, TVR gas cap. Still waiting on my Hotbodies TKR windscreen. Got Neek's rear spacers, Tech Specs for my track skins (so I don't have to switch back and forth anymore). I think that's it excluding what I did to it right before winter. lol

I forgot 1000RR monoblocks and a Cox radiator guard.

I havent touched it yet but less than 30 days now and the party will start.... The big ones are Marchesini wheels, Galfer SBK rotors and lines, full exhaust system, and Auctmart custom fairings. Makes me wonder why I didn't get a 07+ and start there but I have that baby in the works as we speak.

I ordered a pair a couple of months ago and have them sitting in my garage in a plastic bag.

That's the best price I've seen. I'm running the 190/55 back tire though to start the season and see if I like it. Then probably going to GP ntec (uk) take off, if I like those might spring for new ones. Or, may go back to the 180 q2 if I'm losing too much acceleration. Lots of trial and error on tires til you get them right for you.
