Bridgestone....meh.

Good news is that the 003's will be going for a good price. Hopefully I can negotiate a a deal a set of 003's and r10's.

I used to run 003's then they started slipping as I got faster. Then went to Power one V front and love them still! Now about to try some 211 UK Dunlops I picked up. We shall see

Those are some really pretty treads. Looks aside, can't wait to hear what some members have to say about them.

I use to run the 003 R as well and got these 211's for cheap so decided to give them a try and got a chance this last friday at Chuckwalla and I love it! Had to remove my front fender because the front tire expands and was about to burn through it.

I meant the 003 DOTs. used then on a 09 ZX6R around the track - loved them and the bike

but i would imagine the new tire will be better then the old - usually the way it goes (but not always)

Really quick off topic question. How did you like the 09 ZX6R compared to the RR on the track?

09 zx6r gives great body position. Although I feel more comfortable on my CBR, the aggressive design of the zx puts you into a really good position.

My issue is that the zx I rode had BT003s, and turn-in is a bitch on these tires after riding Michelin Power One/Race/Pures/2CT etc. I do not like the profile on th Bridgestones, too much work to get through a corner. Grip was better or equal to any of the Michelin products IMO though. Michelin gives a much quicker tip.

I'm interestested in the R10 if the profile is higher, and not blunted like the 003.

Please give reviews guys. I'm also curious about tire weight if anyone has info, comparatively speaking.

No problem, just trying to help the track sluts here whenever my slow ass can. They cost $400 after tax.

So far just from looking at them they are not as tall in the center as the Dunlops are, but that do have a higher profile than the old Bridgestones thats for sure. I will snap some pics of the tires when I get home tomorrow afternoon.
