Nice pics, Predikt.

What bodywork is that? I use AK composites and the one thing that has always bothered me is the width of the lower belly piece.

Ceph,
Thanks man. Glad I can share and that people like them. The photos really help me a lot to figure out if I have correct positioning on entry, mid, and exit for some of the turns.

Nemesis,
haha. cool cool.

96SNAKE03RR,
Thanks. Yeah, I have HotBodies plastics. Pretty cheap construction and wide lower also. Check out the pic below. Scraped a hole right through. I just noticed when I got home. I had a track day today at Willow Springs International Raceway and had greater lean angles trying to catch up to Trik and my other buddy Galen...you bastard Trik :)

So yeah, I was scraping all day. Sucks...good thing though that I didn't paint these plastics. Got a great deal on them but you definitely get what you pay for.

Shot of the right side of my lowers, scraped a hole right through.

Actually, your lower belly pan looks considerably thinner than my AK composites piece. The drawback is that I think your front and rear lower points to the pan offer less ground clearance though.

i wouldn't doubt if the zip-tie mount helped with the hole. i bet a more solid mount would have kept it up out of the way. that ziptie had to allow the lowers to move around abit.

96SNAKE03RR,
Yeah, I have to find out if the different plastics offer better clearance. I'm wondering if it's also the stock exhaust pushing the lowers out wide at the top. I really don't think my lean angles were all that drastic, but to scrape the lowers seems like they are.

Ceph,
Actually, the zip tie is really not needed. I just put it there more to ease my mind that my lower is not going to fall off from the Dzus fasteners settling out from the vibration (I have the split washers to hold them but sometimes those come out as well). Without the zip tie, the lower really doesn't move that all to the left and right. I'm pretty sure it's just my OEM headers pushing the plastics out wide but I've never replaced my exhaust so I don't know for sure.
