I was supposed to be there, but some unfortunate circumstances are keeping me from going. Dayrock may be there.

Signatures are stupid.

I'll be there marshalling, unless they need more track coaches.

Did you make it out, dayrock? There were about 6 600RR's there and maybe 2 of those were with me in blue group.

I am so disappointed... No, I didn't make it. My buddy backed out on me late Friday. I almost made the treck by myself but figured I'd save the cash and play it safe. Trackdays by yourself sort of lose the fun factor.

How was it? I've never run summit but heard it's nick name is slippery point, with all the concrete patches.

I looked for ya.

In the morning the track is slippery. I ended up lowsiding at about 50 mph on the JC on Sunday. My rear-set struck the ground and took the rear tire's traction away. I was able to repair the bike and got back on the track after missing two sessions. I'll say it again Sato frame sliders suck, they broke off again and this time the frame got scratched.

Damn Kev, that two lowsides within a short time. How's the bodywork holding up? I'd say mori's are expensive but quite stout frame sliders. Did you stick around for Monday or head back Sunday night?

I see your gonna be working the red group on the 5th. That's awesome. You can pull me around the track for a while.

A few cracks in the body work and I need a new left side rear set and frame slider. I've ordered the new rear set and I'm going to fix the fairing this week. More than likely I will not repaint the fairings until winter time.

Ya man, I'll pull you around the track.

Sorry you didn't make it out, Dayrock.

Get this though.. I'm on the grid and Kev walks over right before they send us out and the first thing he says is.. "I crashed". Putting wonderful thoughts in my head before heading down the track. :) It's cool that he was ok with minimal damage.

I'm not a big fan of the JC course but I really do like Main. The concrete patches are your friend. I wouldn't suggest going too wide and away from the patches. Like Kev said, maybe a bit slippery in the morning, but very good grip overall.

I'll throw some pics up later..

Kevin's not known for his small talk abilities...hahaha. Thow up some pics. I'd like to see them. Figure the guys from "pics of you" were out for the weekend.

When I found out I wasn't gonna make it, I called Linda and got her to switch me over to North on the 5th. Man she was in a bad mood. I got the business end of of Linda on that call.

Pics are up.

You can see in my pic how high the front is. This sucks and pushes the bike wide. I'm on the right path to getting it corrected. I have to really get off the bike to get the thing to turn at speed.

Getting the front to compress a little lower and the bike turning much better after lunch..

That sucks. I may have to look into a different set.

The one thing that always puzzels me is rider position. Just speaking out loud here, not picking on anybody. You guys are both in Blue and one hangs off and one doesn't and your both quick around the track.

I figure its like golf. Everybodies swing is different when you watch it. It doesn't really matter as long as your shooting par. I got a buddy always beating me up about hanging off too much.

Just a general observation from the pics. And I know your fronts riding a little high Snake.

Itís all about what youíre comfortable with, but you can hang off too much and not enough. On high speed turns I hang off like Lance does, but on lower speed turns I feel I canít see all of the track so that is why my upper body is a little more over the tank.

I agree with Kev. I also don't hang off as much on slow speed turns.
