A couple pics from Jennings 8/21

Finally hit up my first track day down at Jennings GP today. I'm definitely addicted. Unforunately I didn't get that many picture, it was hot as all hell so between sessions I just sat and drank water. Anyways, here's a few pictures I did take of lil'redneckgirl who was there as well and a couple pics of myself.

Loved Jennings, especially turns 8 and 10, wore down my left puck pretty good :01_thumbu There's water down near turn 6 and also near turn 1.

Yeah, I think there were a few other .net folks there but I'm not sure. There definitely where a decent number of 600rr's.

so apparently i'm slackin' a bit. i was tired last night after having to reaarange my bike after the tie down broke and it tried to jump out of me trailer. luckily, i think it's only paint on the bike, but who knows. i'll find out today. thank you ga_rr for your tent, thanks formergixxer for your help with the bike! and mike at 2wheeltours, you are awesome!! he singled me out on the track and led me around for a session so that i could see the lines that the track has. feels pretty good when you get that down and then another control rider comes up (who is a chick) and tells you how good you looked!!! for my first day, it was definately an experience. can't WAIT for september!!! pics to follow shortly!

I will get some pics up soon, GA_RR, I was the flat black rr behind you in the b class, Third session.. IT WAS HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The guy next to us had a lap timer that also had the temp, read 109 on the track. I wish I knew they had power at the paddocks. Great time... Thanks to Mike from twowheel for showing the good lines and for the give-aways.. Great time, I am definitly hooked.
I recommend a track day for everyone. You can learn alot about the bike in one afternoon and 2 miles of track.

Sorry I didn't get to meet you there, you gonna be there next month. You aren't kidding, it was definitely hotter than all hell out there. I think I'm be towing down the travel trailer next month or at the very least some fans and whatnot. Also need to pick up some better tires, those regular diablos are definitely not built for the track, by the end of the day they started stepping out on me enough to scare me into slowing down.

Probably going to wait till it gets a little cooler... By the end of the day I was feeling a little drained. The guys across from us had the temp gauge in the trailer, it was pegged at 120!!!

Wetting your teeshirt with water before you hit the track will help keep you cooler and (for the women) really excite your pit neighbor. but it does work.

I'm not looking forward to the heat. We were there last year in October and it was still Hot Like Balls....

Yep, main reason I want to bring the trailer. Does anyone know if there are hookups for 220 so I'd be able to run the A/C?

yes, there are 220v hookups (bring an extension cord - your stock cord might not be long enough - at least 60'), just save me one if you get there first. :)

Will do, I guess I'll park the trailer further off from the paddocks and then put the EZ up over a paddock for the bikes. Oh yeah, Brandi, if you're going to try that wet shirt thing you're more than welcome to share my paddock again :icon_lol:

I did not see any, but I did see the guy with the van who had a window unit in the pass. window, they said they had to turn it off in the middle of the night cause it got to cold.
I am really suprised at how the under armour works. I had long sleeve shirt and the shorts and I was fine with them on. Would dump some water on my head in between sessions like jetblast said.

LOL, I'll probably have to stay away from her that weekend anyhow as I'm trying to convince the wife to come with me and she's already joking with me about my "600rr girlfriend". J/K.
