DOT Race tires and tire warmers

I just wanted to asked before i spent a lot money, would they really prolong the life of the tires? since im not racing, I heard that the heating cycles really doesnt matter unless you are racing, I do plan on hitting the track hard but do i really need to invest 400 and some in warmers if I really dont have too! Will i save money on tires if i do get them?

Dot race tires will be fine without warmers. Depending how fast you are, they're going to last a trackday or 2 most. No need for warmers unless you race and need the temp up right away.

If your race tires are still good after 2 trackdays, you're not fast enough to make use of the race tires. just use powers or corsa's.
