Stock seat

Going to be turning the rr into a track/street bike... I'd like to get pretty serious about track riding...I'd like to keep the stock seat so I can use it for when its on the street... but I was just wondering what you guys thought about it... will I have any problems moving around on the bike with stocker? I've been on the track just a couple of times this year...next season I should be there every week...(i hope!)

thanks for any input

The original race plastics that I got with my bike only had a foam pad for a seat. The plastics in currently have use the stock seat, and I like it better. Get it nice and slick with some armor-all and your good to go.

I have yet to ride a bike on the street or track that the seat prevented me from moving around, stock seats anyway. Some of the aftermarket ones that are more form fitting make it a little more difficult, but since you are weighting the peg on the side you would be sliding too, your but should be just skimming the seat.

Stock seat is perfect for the track. Firm enough.

My gsxr has the stock suzuki seat which is softer and it sucks on the track. Can't slide across it like on the cbr.
