Cheap race bodywork

does anyone have any experience with E-racing fairngs or Pit Tech speed parts that are sold on e-bay? I'm looking to do ocasional track days and don't want to spend a fortune on high end bodywork like Sharkskins. If anyone knows of a used set too send me a pm. I'm looking to do a Jennings trackday in November

Tuna, they changed the design from what you had. The new stuff is quite good. Crash-tested and still very usable.

why skimp on good bodywork? I made the same mistake, tried hotbodies and it was complete crap. Had to cut and sand to make fit, plus paper thin. I've seen godfather and cheetah in person and trust me, NONE of it can compare to sharkskinz. They fit like OEM! Well worth the $$

I know you basically get what you pay for , but I was looking at the cheaper stuff cause i'm only going to do an ocasional track day. Did some CCS back in the day and club racing is so addictive it made me broke in a hurry! taking the less expensive way this time. BTW Tuna, thanks for the pm I almost got that set. Got outbid in closing minutes

I have a set of the e fairings and they are great. surface well-prepared for painting, fit is good (tail section was tight, but everybody's is on this bike). only issue was that the front was very tight and fits right up against the stock instrument cluster. pretty good deal for the money.
