Pirelli supercorsa pro versus Michelin Power Race

I couldn't seem to find one thread that had comparisons with each other. I really want know what people thought of the new pirelli supercorsa (pro). I have been using the power race (med/med) compound for awhile but planning to switch since there is contingency for pirelli's.

Thanks!

I've not ridden the Pirelli but have had the Metzler Racetech (Med r/soft fr)and Michelin Pilot Race (Med/med) I will not use the PR again in the med compund. Slow warmup and not as much feedback. Seemed like you had to make them slide to stick. Metzler just felt better and felt like it warmed up quicker. I do have a set of Medsoft/soft PR to run in Oct so they may be better but I hated the med. Both sets were run without tire warmers

i'm guessing the racetec's are pretty much the same as the supercorsa pro's. Did they give consistant grip throughout the whole day?

Ive had both, much prefered the supercorser pro's over the Power Races, mind, i did low side on the power races with no warning whatsoever, so i may be a little biased

Im using SC2 on the back SC1 on the front, great tyres !!!

I didn't have any problems till about the third trackday. They started to slide but were consistent.

And Metzler is running a promotion on the racetech. Buy a rear tire and you get a front for $25 S&H. Definitely worth giving them a try
