Question track days Q.

Ok so the 05 season is basically over, I'm pretty much getting ready for 06... there's a track a couple hours away, (Gingerman raceway) that I'm planning on going to, sportbiketracktime.com is one of the groups that goes there and does track days... YOu guys know anything about em?

I'm just looking for feedback, whats the best way to get track time, that kinda stuff.

Put race plastics #2 on your list right behind proper gear. Trust me, it sucks learning that the hard way.

quassi888s website is real good for finding out about trackday orgs, and different tracks.

Sportbiketracktime is a real good org. they have good on and off track instructions, you can learn alot from their instructors.

I've been with STT out in Las Vegas, Nevada back here in the States and they are very well organized and a great group of people.

Like other's have said, STT is a good group. I was at the Rouge trackday earlier this year at Barber and they were the org that facilitated the trackday. I got a pretty good impression from them. So much so, that I signed up with the for the trackday at Barber this weekend.

Checkout Quassi's website. He's put together some really good info on the different tracks and trackday orgs around the country. His site also has some nifty "hidden" features aswell... ;)

To answer you question about tracktime, the best way to get time on the track is going to trackdays. You're headed in the right direction. Do as many trackdays as your budget will allow. That's really the only way, unless you own your own track or endurance race, especially if you're new to the whole track thing. Another option, which is few and far between, is to find a race track country club. There are a few scattered across the country, but like I said their few and far between. However luckly for you, I believe Autobahn is fairly close to you aswell...
