Jennings

I will be doing a couple days there. I was wondering if they have electric service or should I get a generator? What comforts do they offer? I looked on their website and found no info.

Yeah, every other paddock has an electrical box. Power shouldn't be a problem. And for future questions you can post up on the Jennings GP forum if you can't get an answer here. Those guys will answer any questions you may have.

Negative on the power. You may get lucky and be on a circuit that doesn't trip with plugging in a hand held radio, but if you want to be sure, bring a generator.

If there's a lot of people there count on the breakers tripping constantly.

Really? We were there last month and didn't have that problem. Hopefully they changed the breaker. It was pretty full too. My buddy was using his tire warmers and didn't have it trip out on him. But I wasn't looking to see how many people were on their circuits either so it may still be a problem. That sucks. Plug your tire warmers in and walk away only to have them trip out and still cold when your ready to pitout.

Larry, have you asked about this lately over on the Jennings forum?

I think it was just the bad mojo from that R1 of yours...

Ya.................I'm not too sure why most people on here are all about relying on power poles to run warmers..........

IMHO (and from experience) you should ALWAYS bring a genny; just in case.

I think E might have a point. The R1 does seem to bring out the worst in all electronics and parts in general... flying gas caps, bad bearings, blown motors... so you may be allright so long as I'm not there :)

The breakers seem to have gotten weaker from being tripped so much. Most tracks don't have power so its better than nothin. I have tons of miles around that place and the only time I crashed was because the warmers tripped the breaker and I was too stupid to feel the tire and in a big hurry...........bang......made it three corners. A lot of it is caused by people that buy a 3 dollar skinny little cord and then run 4 sets of warmers a fan and a fridge. It did work perfect this weekend. Everyone please buy a big fat short cord and a good three way and it won't be so likely to pop the breaker

YES!!! For the love of GOD, people... V= freakin' IR... for those not into physics, use a yellowjacket or similar extension cord. The one your wife uses to run her lawn sprinkler isn't gonna cut it.

I am going with Champion Sport Bike Club on 01-29/30-06. Really great club. It may be only for members at this time as it will be open track / no sessions. If you want in tell them Eddie told you about it and was wondering if you could squeeze in.

Dont worry about calling Mike to get me in. I dont want to be on the list twice.

I will be there with Wiggins, Yarnall crew and Manson. I ride Champion SBC all the time.

Its going to be a sick time, a couple guys are going to be doing R&D for there sponsors.

See you there on the 30th.
