1st ever race report

So i had my first ever race the weekend just gone at Homestead Miami, this won't be long so don't worry. Friday loaded up the van and headed south, got to the track and stayed in the 5 diamond accomadation of the van, my mate Brandon had the most room and i was spooning the bike all night which was fun.anyway to the racing. my first race i started dead last back in 35 i think,i know there were quite a few crashes, but finished 21, so i was quite happy with that for my first race and from starting dead last, 2nd race finished 21st out of 42 finishers,so again quite happy with that and the 3rd race i dont know where i finished because they didn't post the results before i left. i had a really good weekend and i can't wait for the start of next season it was a real steep learning curve and there are some real fast fellas out there, i started out doing 1 min 50's a lap and got it down to a consistant 1.42's. i just cant wait to get racing again. i'm definately hooked that all i can say. now i just need to get faster

That is incredibly awesome.

I love it when guys figure out just how great this stuff is. Me personally, I don't have the bug to race, but i completely support and admire those that do.

8 seconds is a huge drop. Amazing how following someone fast kinda rubs off.

Signatures are stupid.

Nice report, I remember seeing your bike down there. I was probably in the same races as you (Orange 600RR, #161). I got in a wreck in race #11, guy went down in front of me and couldnt' avoid him.

See you at Homestead in Feb.
